Picket Fences Featured in Dunedin Mardi Gras Parade
Picket Fences Foundation proudly participated in the Dunedin Mardi Gras Parade with a festive “float” made up of two decorated golf carts entered in the nonprofit category. The float celebrated neurodiversity and highlighted the organization’s mission to create opportunities for independence, employment, and inclusion for neurodiverse young adults.
The moment was even more special when the Picket Fences float was featured on the City of Dunedin’s FaceBook page, appearing in the opening scenes of the city’s Mardi Gras parade video. The event was a fun and meaningful way to share the message of neurodiversity and raise awareness about Picket Fences’ programs and vision for inclusive housing and job opportunities.
